GRAMMAR
THERE WAS//THERE WERE

PAST SIMPLE AFFIRMATIVE
REGULAR VERBS: Se forman añadiendo -ED a la forma base del verbo.
Ex: work - worked
Hay que tener en cuenta las siguientes reglas ortográficas:
1- Si el verbo termina en -E, sólo añadimos la -D
Ex: love - loved
2- Si el verbo termina en consonante + y, pasa a -ied.
Ex: cry- cried
Importante: Esto no pasa si el verbo termina en vocal + y
Ex: play - played.
3- Si el verbo es monosílabo y termina en 1 vocal + 1 consonante, la consonante se duplica.
Ex: stop- stopped

UNIT 2: BODY LANGUAGE
VOCABULARY
PARTS OF THE BODY

GRAMMAR
PRESENT CONTINUOUS:
Expresa la que está ocurriendo mientras hablamos o en el periodo de tiempo presente.
Se forma con la forma correcta de "to be" (am, is,are) + un bverbo terminado en -ing.
Para añadir -ing a un verbo hay que fijarse en estas reglas ortográficas:
- Si acaba en -e, se pierde esta letra.
come- coming
- Si es de una sílaba y termina en 1 vocal + 1 consonante, se dobla la consonante.
run- running

PRESENT SIMPLE VS PRESENT CONTINUOUS. CONTRAST.
El Present Simple habla de acciones habituales, mientras que el Present Continuous indica lo que está ocurriendo en el momento en que se está hablando. Recuerda que las expresiones temporales ayudan a distinguir un tiempo verbal del otro.
PRESENT SIMPLE: Adverbios de frecuencia (always, usually, often, sometimes, hardly ever, never), every day, once a week, twice a month, on Fridays, in the morning, at the weekend etc...
PRESENT CONTINUOUS: now (ahora), at the moment (en este momento), right now (ahora mismo), today (hoy), look! (¡mira!), listen! (¡escucha!)
