El viernes 3 de junio asistiremos a la representación de la obra " A Midsummer Night's Dream" de William Shakespeare en el Teatro Alameda. Los actores son alumnos del IES Punta del Verde y forma parte de la XXIII muestra de teatro escolar de Sevilla.Para que podamos seguir la obra sin problemas y ya que , como siempre, la actividad es obligatoria y será tenida en cuenta en vuestra calificación, vamos a prepararla con antelación con las siguientes actividades.<br />
<br />
ARGUMENTO DE LA OBRA<br />
Durante los preparativos de la boda de Teseo con Hipólita, dos parejas de amantes se pierden en el bosque del amor no correspondido: Hermia ama a Lisandro, pero está comprometida con Demetrio, el que a su vez es amado por Elena.<br />
Egea, madre de Hermia, se presenta ante Teseo, duque de la ciudad, para que éste obligue a su hija a cumplir su compromiso o la entregue a la muerte.<br />
Entonces, Lisandro y Hermia deciden huir. Tras Hermia, Demetrio, tras éste, Elena. Todos se pierden en el bosque donde habitan Titania y Oberón, reyes de las Hadas, los cuales desde hace mucho tiempo están disgustados por un capricho. Oberón decide vengarse hechizando a Titania con el jugo de la flor del amor, que vertidos sobre los párpados durmientes, basta para que una persona ame con locura a la primera criatura que vea.<br />
Al mismo tiempo, se encuentran en el bosque un grupo de actores que ensayan un drama para representar el día de la boda del duque. Puck, duende ayudante del rey Oberón, transforma a uno de ellos en burro, quien al ver que el resto de su compañía huye, decide pedir ayuda. Con sus gritos despierta a la reina Titania, que víctima del encantamiento, se enamora inmediatamente de él.<br />
Oberón decide ayudar a las parejas de amantes con el mismo filtro de amor, pero ante las sucesivas equivocaciones de Puck, pone fin a todos los hechizos, conservando sin embargo el de Demetrio, que se enamora finalmente de Elena.<br />
Ante el nuevo orden establecido, los enamorados son disculpados ante La Ley y las parejas se casan junto a Teseo e Hipólita con la bendición de Titania y Oberón, quien ha recobrado el amor de su reina y ha hecho que todo lo que ellos recuerden sea sólo un sueño de una noche de verano.<br />
